Hold in the odometer reset in and turn on the ignition. Scroll though the tests by pushing the button. Make sure the temp' gauge does a full sweep at first. That will rule that out as the problem. dynuY31. The mk3 tdci is a mature product, I think all known problems have been discovered by now. If you don't get any ideas from this forum, try asking on talkford.com as it has an active mk3 section. Bit of a turbo issue with my 07 Mondeo TDCI MK3 with Duratorq engine and was wondering if anybody could help decipher what part is actually wrong so i can fix it. Finally traced the problem to a broken wire going to the map sensor now have no problems reaching 3 figure speeds. Not that I have ever been that fast
